international ministry with a vision to Make Disciples,
Train Leaders, and Change Lives. Founder, Scott

Jeremy and Macy (alumni of our local college and former CLC members) serve at the “Escola Internacional de Puraquequara”. This school was founded in 1958, to aid missionary families serving in remote places where there are no schools. American and Portuguese curriculums are used in the school. Though the Ketchams serve in many different capacities, their main ministry is as dorm parents to students in 5-8th grade. Many nationalities are represented: American, Brazilian and even Korean. If the school did not exist, many missionary families would be unable to stay with the tribe, because their child would be unable to receive an education. Every semester, we pray that the Lord would continue to provide teachers and others to serve at our school so we can continue to support our missionary families in the tribe.
have yet to be reached. There are so many who have yet to hear!
Pray for speed, efficiency, and open doors to continue to reach
these unreached people groups!
Pray for us as we are part of the Leadership of the school and
for the decisions that are made.
Pray for us as well, as we love and take care of the kids under
our care.
sending missionaries into remote isolated
communities, where the language and culture are
unknown. Most of these communities are
accessible only by river or aviation. The languages
of these indigenous groups are not written down.
To learn the language, time is spent talking &
pointing, and trial & error. Learning the culture is
extremely important, as the goal is to
communicate the Gospel in a way that is
understood clearly through their World View.

Under the direction of Brian Mitchell for the last 14 years, the ministry has grown to involve 87 schools and 125 coaches across 11 counties-- reaching thousands of primarily un-churched students! Each school has at least one supervised "huddle" Bible study where Bibles and study materials are distributed freely. Mitchell himself leads seven weekly morning Bible studies and spends afternoons in personal character coach sessions besides attending sporting events to cheer on those he mentors.
Chance and Kayla Dry came on as area representatives a little over a year ago, and Dylan Curtis last summer, to better blanket the region. All work from home, including Penny Lodin, administrative assistant, to save money on office rental. One prayer request for this year is funding for marriage retreats for coaches since home life can be strained with the demands of their schools and students.

in Taney County, just as we have since 1984.
Last year, that meant that we were able to provide :
-more than 40,000 individual cases of assistance
-nearly 500,000 meals provided a
-over 2,000,000 pounds of food distributed.
We know that we can do this only through the power of the Holy Spirit
and the many, many contributions of our volunteers and our partners
who generously share their blessings with our neighbors. Thank you!
