{"id":83,"date":"2022-05-31T17:03:51","date_gmt":"2022-05-31T17:03:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/clcbranson.com\/?page_id=83"},"modified":"2022-06-01T14:40:25","modified_gmt":"2022-06-01T14:40:25","slug":"our-pastor","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/clcbranson.com\/index.php\/our-pastor\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Pastor"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Pastor &#8211;  Chuck Puckett<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Chuck was born in the Missouri Bootheel town of Malden, MO where, as he says, he &#8220;just grew up as a country boy learning the value of hard work and being a kid while you can.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He came to the Ozarks in 1973 to attend the School (now College) of the Ozarks where he earned degrees in Religion &amp; Philosophy and Sociology. The college is also where he met the love of his life, Terry. After his graduation the two were married and chose to make the Ozarks their home. He and Terry have been blessed with three daughters, three sons-in-law and eight AMAZING grandchildren.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"639\" src=\"https:\/\/clcbranson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Pucketts-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-153\" srcset=\"https:\/\/clcbranson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Pucketts-1.jpeg 640w, https:\/\/clcbranson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Pucketts-1-300x300.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/clcbranson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Pucketts-1-150x150.jpeg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Chuck and Terry have always had the Lord&#8217;s heart for people and exemplify the servanthood of believers in their everyday lives. They worked together in children\u2019s ministry for 18 years, loving, leading and learning as they shared God\u2019s truth with generations of kids.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1998 God called them to a new work of pastoring an independent, non-denominational church and Covenant Life Church was born. They embraced this new call with hearts toward God and a love for people from all walks of life.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chuck is, and has been since the beginning, been committed to preaching the truth of God\u2019s Word without compromise. He believes that the absolute truth of God\u2019s Word is the only foundation for life  and that salvation comes only through Jesus Christ.
